Outstanding experience. Lovely host and staff and a fantastic chef and team. Loved the Asian night. Cod and sake dish was awesome. Can't wait to go back.
Lovely rooms, spacious and clean. We only stayed one night and was in and out so cant say much about the immediate area . Breakfast was good , service at breakfast could have been better if I’m completely honest but just a niggle.
I had a take-away pizza from here and it was lovely. We didnt spend too much time in the pub but the staff were really nice and friendly. The decor and layout was nice. Will pop in again when we are passing to sample the beer.
Just called for a drink and a bite to eat. No bar staff no sandwich choice. Beer choice is pretty awful. We sat outside all we could hear were the kitchen staff shouting and swearing at each other. Shame as its a lovely building and very nice inside. Not surprised it was empty on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Easy to find, parking at rear, lovely quaint country pub with beams and modern facilities, rooms are large, modern en suite, essentials are there, mirrors hairdryer, comfy bed, good nights sleep, didn't use the restaurant as we were at the forest live festival, great location for this venue only 5 miles away, had full English breakfast, excellent quality and hot, service first class, highly recommend this for bed and breakfast, if we were there longer we wouldn't have hesitated to use the restaurant as the service is excellent for everything else and we were made to feel welcome. Highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed.
