About us

Royally refurbished in 2014, this riverside pub in Isleworth is a special place to enjoy real ales, rugby and quality food. It’s located right on the banks of the Duke of Northumberland River, with an outdoor terrace making the perfect setting for alfresco dinner and drinks.

A key part of the rugby match day ritual, The Royal Oak is the closest pub to Twickenham for fans on foot. Less than ten minutes from the stadium, it’s the ideal place to soak up the big game atmosphere ahead of kick off - and the best place to celebrate after the final whistle!

Cask connoisseurs are well catered for here, with four ales on tap including a selection of Fuller’s award-winning brews. We also have plenty for lager lovers to get excited about, with Heineken, Peroni, Frontier, Becks and Fosters among our regular offering.

We’re not just rugby fans here at The Royal Oak, we’re big supporters of local business too. We want to put the pub right at the heart of the community - and that’s why you’ll find fantastic food here from local suppliers like Honeycrumbs Bakery and South Street Café.

Stopped for a meal and drinks here. Nice place, friendly landlord and liked the Rugby World cup range of burgers. Good beer and soft drinks too

Well it may be a chain pub but the food was far from standard. We were a family party of 9 and we were given a lovely room all to our self’s, we were even allowed to bring our dog. She was made to feel most welcome and the lovely waiter brought her welcoming bowl of water. The service was amazing, efficient, quick, welcoming and friendly. The food is extremely tasty and well presented, some lovely dishes and a choice for all from fussy, to young and old. The dishes were large and extremely good value. We all had starters, desserts, main meals, wine, beer and g&t and the total bill was just over £30 per head. A great evening, thank you to all the staff, this is a great gem of a pub, a must if in the area.

Lovely pub by the river in Isleworth. They have a cozy inside setting and lovely outdoor sitting as well. Mostly visited by the locals. The pub is filled in match days and when there is live DJ. Nice selection of food and drinks. I tried the fish and chips. The staff are lovely.
