What a fabulous pub! First time visit. Tina is a lovely welcoming landlady. Made us feel so welcome. Darts, Pool, Bowls during the day. Comfortable seating. Wide variety of drinks. We will be back and wished we had ventured inside the doors alot sooner
I was served a beer that was clearly 'off', he said try another, as he had not pulled through a pint (of that) that day, awful. He then gave me money back and said he didn't want to waste any more beer, and would not serve me . Guy should not run a pub. People wonder why weatherspoons are taking over.......?
It's a pub , a good one . No fancy food no over priced bad tasting wine. And a real bonus is that we have never seen anyone in there wearing shoes without socks .
Ignore the bad reviews, i found landlord and locals very friendly. Excellent riverside location and well kept ales and Dog Friendly
Great proper pub. Always get a warm welcome here from the land lady, Newcastle brown is always cold too. Pool and darts along with music that’s always on very pleasant experience.
