Great local pub. Enjoyed many a nice beer, good selection of cask ales and continental lagers. Food is very good pub grub, the pizzas are to die for. Prices are fair, especially for the quality of the food. Staff are all very friendly and attentive, always able to answer any questions we had. Would highly recommend.
Good beer and if you can tie the friendly bar manager down you can have a laugh. Great lad but hyperactive, never stops moving.

Stumbled upon the Royal Oak by luck, and glad i did, i had a lovely beef roast, it was the best roast i have had in a long time, the staff were very friendly and polite, the pub had a very warm and friendly atmosphere, i left completely full, and its very reasonably priced, i highly recommend the Royal Oak if your in the area.
Great lunch sandwiches. Chips were ok, nice enough.
