Lovely old hotel. Great staff, can't fault them. The view is outstanding, absolutely beautiful. But sadly, it needs a better refurbishment. Place modernised but poorly done. Squeaky floorboards, stains on carpets and chairs, blown windows, bathrooms bit dated. Was clean tho. Breakfast was small and not all freshly cooked, unfortunately. I would stay here again, as the view is absolutely stunning.

Very overpriced for what it is. Payed £120, for the family room and 1 dog. Staff were fine but the room was very outdated, didn't come with the essentials a normal hotal would. Breakfast was very basic and wasn't that great. The views are great tho.

lovely hotel, staff were friendly and welcoming. we only stayed for the one night and it was worth the price. we had breakfast included with our stay which was lovely. only giving four stars as the rooms looked quite outdated and the bath had stains in it (which was no bother to us using the shower). view was stunning and the location is right near the town and beaches.

Really nice hotel with really nice owners and staff. Only stayed 1 night and made to feel welcome and valued. Also an added bonus of grandad and uncle staying here and we didn't even know.... Thanks guys... really nice night away with you...

I come to Tenby twice a year with my two dogs. This time I chose a hotel over an apartment and the Royal Lion was the perfect choice. The location was awesome, the view from my room was breathtaking, and the staff were so friendly, especially Debbie with whom I had some smashing chats as we tried to change the world.
