We had a lovely double room, which looked newly renovated. Great location too. We were able to park in the street overnight. Helpful staff. What's not to like? I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The Royal Hotel was a lovely place to stay for our first time in Stranraer. They accommodated our needs perfectly and were incredibly kind we will definitely come back. P.s. the highland cow teddies are my own, not the companies.
Friendly welcoming reception, clean, quiet, well equipped, recently refurbished rooms, comfortable beds, good price, central location, view of sea (room 5), free WiFi, free parking on street (6pm - 8am), 100m from Morrisons supermarket, 15mins driving to ferry. Perfect.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Great people run it. So helpful. Very good price.
The people are wonderful, warm and friendly. The rooms were very nice, bathrooms recently remodeled. Loved the cookies they leave for you. I definitely recommend! People at the bar are great and will answer your questions and happy to chat with you!
