Great community pub. Good for Sport with several tv’s. Friendly staff

Went at 11:05pm and asked if they do takeaway pints(takeaway cups). They said they do but when I reached the counter and asked again, staff said they’re all closed. He then changed his mind asking me what I wanted, then changed his mind again saying ‘actually sorry we’re closed’. Clearly there were still a lot of customers sitting around and the pub closes at 11:30pm. There were still plenty of time before closing. Very disappointed and won’t be going again.

Great pub, always reliable and friendly. Lovely sun trap beer garden and good selection of drinks available.

A passable pub with typical bland student decor. Quite bad coffee. Usually just nip in for a token glass of something to use the bathroom facilities.
