0 stars... Run away as fast as you can. The worst place I have ever had the misfortune to stay at or eat at. No frills accommodation means dirty. The restaurant / bar was a soulless vacuum, fueled by the rude learning owner/barman? , praying on holiday makers. Food order came out wrong, and was wrongly described as pie... Vile. Cheaper food and drink just a short walk down the road and 100% better quality amd service. Please please avoid this place at all cost.
AVOID! Save your money! Absolutely appalling behaviour from the manager of this place. To follow us out, and to rudely question us. We were going for drinks as they are dog friendly, but after the off putting smell of the restaurant, the dark and dingy bar area and the non flushing dirty toilets, we decided to leave. For the manager to question and further argue if we saw the sign for "no toilets for public". so glad we did not spend a penny here. The restaurant had one family in and the food did not look good. Standard microwave pub food.
Avoid!!!! Came here to find something to eat. Food is very expensive and felt unwelcomed when entered the premise. Paid £17 for a Hawaiian pizza but got served the "cheaper" cheese pizza (£15), which obviously looked like the typical 99p pizza you get from Tesco or Aldi. Couldn't refund because the kitchen closed earlier than advertised.
Lovely place. We had two dogs and they were very welcome. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. The food were delicious. Fort William was close which was very handy for us. We would book at this hotel again.
Stopped here for dinner on my way back from Skye. The Steak Pie was phenomenal, best gravy I've had in the UK since I started working here a year ago. The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect finisher to the meal, and the portions were generous. Definitely stopping by here again when I'm driving through the countryside in the future!
