3.Carvery straight after school run this afternoon. Booked a table but didn't need to. Was nice and quiet when we arrived. Good service as always. 2. Not so busy this time. Always enjoy the carvery. 1. Always rammed when i come here but can't beat a good carvery. Get the tickets and straight up for food always seem to avoid the rush too much
Food amazing as usual an service always on top today we had jordan as a waitress we’ve had her a few times an I can’t say anything bad about the women always checking up on us honestly this women deserves a promotion always smiling 😊 food was bang on fiancé loved he’s pudding however I was too stuffed from the carvary. Top reviews for top carvary. Way better than Toby!
We went in for a Tuesday night quick tea as we signed up by email and received £5 carvery for up to 6. Was fairly quiet but everything was still fresh and hot. Really enjoyed it. Alan one of the staff was really good very friendly and helpful went out of his way to help kids get there puddings. The bottomless ice cream a fave!! Thanks Alan will come again!!!
Me and my father arrived this evening at the Round Oak,greeted at the door with a friendly smile and shown to an available table. Once we had browsed the menu, we went to the bar and was welcomed by Keisha who was most polite, was also very helpful and went above and beyond and helped us with queries with no issues whatsoever. First class service!! More staff like Keisha would be appreciated as it makes the environment in the carvery a very relaxing and enjoyable one to be in. Will definitely be back again soon! Well done Keisha, honestly keep being you, and keep smiling and you will make the experience always a very enjoyable one.
Came here Sunday as a group of 7. 4 adults and 3 children. Had a lovely afternoon. The best carvery I've had in a long time! The meat was amazing and a great selection of veg and potatoes. Even had fresh crackling which was delicious! Everything was fresh and the gravy was tasty and thick! The kids meals were a good size, and again, a good selection to chose from. My husband had the carvery calzone and said it was great. Service was good and also had a good variety of drinks on offer. Price was very reasonable too. Can't fault any part of it. Overall a brilliant pub and we will be returning soon!
