About us

The Rose & Crown is a cosy little pub in Newport Pagnell that prides itself in providing a friendly, welcoming atmosphere - albeit from a quirky bunch of staff - for those who take time out of their day to head on down and visit! And for those of you who do frequent the Rose & Crown, a whole range of ales, wines, and spirits (among other drinks, of course) are available to choose from - as well as a modestly sized lunch menu to fulfill your appetite! Not only that, but we can also assure you that you won't get bored as we play host to a range of different entertainment evenings, from live music to quizzes, games nights to themed evenings. So as much as we can try and sell the Rose & Crown to you, you won't appreciate it until you see come and see for yourself...

So what are you waiting for?!.

Hosted a birthday lunch here couldn't be more helpful and accommodating as always. Food was all lovely, excellent service from the friendly staff. Always clean and tidy including the toilets. Can't thank them enough we all (11 of us) had a lovely time until the next time.

Absolutely fantastic, local pub without all the fuss. Was made to feel very special here, food was great pub grub. Landlord is very friendly and interacts with all guests. The pub itself is tucked away but is worth the hunt!

Myself and my wife called in during the heavy rain for a quick drink. We were very pleasantly surprised how much this pub had changed since our last visit 4 years ago. Firstly, greeted with a nice smile from the young lady behind the bar, then the very cosy atmosphere. The landlord and landlady were very nice and made us feel very welcome. It just felt like a nice friendly place to go, which we will certainly do a lot more often from now on. P.s, we enjoyed it so much we stayed for 4. 😊

Nice pub with friendly owners. Clean and well-decorated inside with great photos of local history. We had a quarter pounder burger and a veggie burger, a pint of Eagle IPA and a large glass of Melbec. The wine was really nice and the beer was spot on. The food was well-prepared and came quickly, though the menu is a little limited to sandwiches, burgers, pizza and jacket potatoes. The prices are 100% fair but the quality of food, especially the veggie burger, was basic. For a £6 main meal, you wouldn't complain.
