A hidden gem that is lost in a time warp.
Played darts there nice little country pub just need to rethink the dart room too small
Glad to see it actually still open. Called in for a quick pint and some lunch as most other places didn't bother to open as early. Place is what it is to look at but the food and drink was spot on. The service was fantastic. I'd much rather sit in a place like that and eat food that Is really good served with a smile than some of the places available today. Don't judge a book by its cover is definitely appropriate for this place. Don't take my word for it go and try it out.
Felt like we'd stumbled in to the unknown. Arm chair sitting behind the bar for the landlord to rest between customers..... Customers warning us off the food with kids running round and screaming. We even walked past what looked like dried sick on the carpet near the door..... We wont be rushing back, such a sham because it has so much potential...
May I say what a very friendly pub we were made welcome as soon as we stepped through the door . The meals were spot on and very varied so may I say a big thank you to the landlord and landlady for their hospitality from Stephen, Jo, and the rest of our friends 😀 😊....
