Wonderful food... Great atmosphere.. Out of this world beer!
I was in the area this weekend and went to The Rock Cross Inn. It's a perfect traditional village pub with a good selection of Ales and drinks. Sunday Lunch was really good and at a reasonable price. The cheesecake was amazing!! The staff and Landlord were all really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return.

Met up with an old friend after 2 years. Friend of my Dad's. Great pub. I've known it all my life. Had great Christmas dinner there once upon a time. A big thankyou to Rose god bless. We shall be back.
This is a lovely country pub that has that local vibe without the 'American Werewolf In London' unfriendliness. in fact, it's super friendly. The Sunday lunches (the only day they serve food) are substantial but you'd be advised to book. Pool table, Juke box, dartboard, nice bar to sit at, good selection of beer and local gin...ticks all the boxes.
