Nice pub, but the toilets were filthy and loo seats broken. Lots of outside space, tvs everywhere so great for sports.
This pub is always welcoming. Nice pool table free dart boards (lights need to be updated). Plenty of tvs but being a sports pub you would expect this also has a massive outside area . Always clean and always has a good atmosphere
First visit to this pub I went along for the live music as I knew the performer. Very good, but shame the pub failed to advertise the fact that they had live music, therefore he was performing to a virtual empty place. Landlord made no effort to speak either, you would think he would like to greet newcomers to his pub to maybe encourage them back.
This pub is near where I live. Unfortunately, as a local I know to avoid it at all costs. It attracts rowdy customers, the staff are rude and unhelpful. There is often sick and rubbish outside the following morning. They also play terrible live music (always the same!) at an extremely high volume on a regular basis (we get treated to this whether we like it or not; but if you can avoid do!!)
Attending a wedding reception here, staff are great although I asked for a G &T and got Gin and soda( very strange). DJ is rubbish, hasn’t read the room and only playing songs he likes, replace the DJ(if you want to call him that) and the place would be great. I’d come back again if only for the staff who are attentive, the DJ spoils it all.
