Plenty or things to do..bingo, tribute acts etc.. Can hire out the room for private parties. £5 club membership decent priced drinks.
My parents went to bingo here not an issue. The guy behind the bar was abusive to my parents wanted to charge for tap water. REALLY .... You abusive to a disabled person ...., and refuse to give tap water I will be reporting you to the council this is totally unacceptable. If you want to discuss I'm happy to do a live review in person. So we can see how professional you are , look forward to your reply..... I would suggest don't go to this place .... there are lots of issues
On visiting the club on several occasions I have not changed my mind on how the bar manager treats the members especially the older ones. He humiliates people and thinks he's funny but he isn't. The entertainment leaves a lot to be desired as the same bands or singers get re booked over and over again. The entertainment person has been asked on several occasions if they could book different ones but never really happens. The beer is OK and priced reasonable but not enough choice. I wouldn't recommend this club. Toilets leave a lot to be desired as need complete refurbish in the men's. Lose tiles on floor, some missing and toilets leak. Slipped a few times.
Well what can I say. After using the club for over 40 years my husband and myself have been banned from the club for 12 months. Me for my opinion of what a rubbish night we had on New Year’s Eve on my friends FACE PAGE and my husband bring falsely accused of using abusive language. Anyone knowing us know that we are not that sort of people. The bar manager needs to respect people especially the elderly as I have been there when he speaks to them in a way that you can see them shaking. It makes you cringe . The members are very friendly and really nice people. The entertainment is hit and miss as the same old bands are re booked over and over again and once you’ve seen them a couple of times it’s like ground hog day. It’s never the same price to go in on Saturday night. We will never be using the club again as the correct procedure was never used at anytime and we were dealt with unfairly.
