Right so let me start by saying, the atmosphere is lit. I love the staff, the drinks the people! Met Beth who was very friendly and funny! Amazing place to socialise, meet new people and play games. Recommended this to all my friends
Mixed experience. It is actually a good place for an evening of games, and we had a good time playing pool and darts. However the fact that this is a private members club and not a pub - their words - makes everything more annoying as for a normal pub, as everyone needs to register (for free), and then give details every time a drink is ordered. The staff could be more friendly about the whole thing and understand most people are not used to an establishment working like this. Secondly and this is why I give 2 stars and not 3/4, is that reviews are earned and not bought. We ran out of time at our table and had almost finished the game, and a staff member came up to say they had given us 15 more minutes - at the mild price of a google review. Well I'm perfectly capable of giving google reviews by myself, and trying to force it the way it was done is NOT going to work. The waiter took my friend's phone when she struggled writing his name, and he straight up started writing the review himself - the AUDACITY. IF I have a good time and IF the service is good will I leave a review, especially if I am asked politely by a friendly staff, but the content/rating is mine alone and I need not have a staff member looking over my shoulder. So all the reviews you're seeing that look like "I had a great time with my waiter "X"" are probably extorted from customers for a few more minutes of game time. Be warned. Next time I will pay for my 15 minutes extra or leave the table, thank you very much.
Had a fantastic experience at Riley's Pool Bar this Sunday! Not only is it incredibly budget-friendly, with two pints and cheesy wedges costing just £22, but the hourly rate for pool tables is also reasonable at £17. We booked two hours and felt it was well worth the price. The bar offers a decent selection of pints, which are quite cheap – a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere on a Sunday was relaxed, and despite being a party of four, we easily secured two tables without any hassle. A heads-up for newcomers: Riley's operates as a members' club, so you'll need to sign up for their online membership. But don't worry, it's super quick and easy, taking barely 5 seconds to complete online. Overall, I'd highly recommend Riley's for anyone looking for a laid-back, affordable spot for pool and drinks in Victoria.
We usually play crazy golf when we visit London, however they were all closed. I googled American pool and found this place. Really good value for money. £11 for an hour. We had great fun and will definitely recommend. You have to be a member however it is really easy to join and costs nothing. There are lots of options, table tennis, darts, English pool, American pool and snooker. We will definitely be back.
This was the worst sports bar experience I've ever had. The system is an absolute farce. You have to sign up to a pointless membership system and then give your FULL name every single time you order a pint or food. This whole process takes about 20 minutes to just get a pint. It's the same for booking a pool table. We need every single person in your party signed up to the stupid app and then repeating their name again. The food was mostly sub par but the low light was the chips as shown in the picture. A congealed soggy mess that was stuck the paper, just like the membership system. Has the person who's idea this was ever been in a pub or do they just want to harvest your data. Ridiculous. In response the owner. There is literally nothing private about it anyone can sign up to it and use any name they want and this isn't verified in any way what so ever.
