Enjoyed the night, however locals were feisty
Probably one of the best pubs around polite friendly people and staff
Strolled into a dog friendly pub called The Richard Cobden on clifton street in worthing yesterday (returned today) whilst visiting my sister and have discovered a gem of a place. We wasn’t even in the door when the customers were openly polite and chatty to a stranger and his dog walking in. Felt relaxed as soon as i walked in so we decided to return today getting the same welcome from a completely different set of regulars. Thank you for your hospitality.
Friendly pub,such a nice bunch of local people. Great atmosphere and excellent service
Quiet local boozer, a dying breed. Has entertainment which goes down well with the locals on a weekend, has medium sized back garden for the summer months. Booze is regular pub lagers & beer. Nice for a quiet drink when the entertainment isn't playing. Has 2 TV screens playing sport but they are not intrusive if you are there to chat, old school local.
