Unfortunately, this dining experience left me thoroughly disappointed, especially with the staff. A group of us gathered at Revs to celebrate a friend's birthday, but it turned out to be a letdown. I ordered small plates and waited an hour for four of them, with the fifth arriving half an hour later. My partner ordered pizza and chips but received a completely different dish after a 45-minute wait, with no explanation or offer for a replacement. None of us got our food at the same time, and the staff even asked, "Does this look like what you ordered?" The service was chaotic, and no apologies were offered. I would have raised a complaint had it not been for my friend, whose birthday we were celebrating, already feeling embarrassed. It's safe to say I won't be returning to Revs, and I won't be recommending it either.
Wouldn’t even give the food a one star it’s far too generous. Pizza was dry, my jaw was clicking eating the chicken burger, half the food was cold. Came for a 21st birthday and the service was awful took them 10 minutes to sit us down. Furthermore, the glasses were wet and dirty when they came. Also took them 45 minutes to get the second drink in a bottomless brunch. Complained and all they could offer was free shots and one brunch took off. Will never be returning. Don’t recommend to anyone it’s not worth the money. Been to many bottomless brunches and never experienced something so poor. As well as all of that the bouncers made my friend get up her bank details to prove her ID was her. The only staff member I would recommend is kasey she is absolutely amazing I couldn’t recommend her enough xx
The place is good for lunch & drinks, but the tables are always sticky & nearly all the tables wobble making it a bit annoying. The toilets are down either 2 or 3 flights of stairs right in the basement so be aware. It's a mixed bag of who serves you as some of the staff are very friendly & helpful, but unfortunately some staff are not very welcoming spoiling the visit. If you like shots I would definitely recommend giving this revolution Durham a visit.
First time we've been in here for many years. Took me back to the early 80's when it was The Coach and Eight. Just popped in for a short stop after having been to the pic's. Service was great, food was good, we had 3 plates of 'grazers', absolutely delicious and hit the spot. Beer and cocktails were good too. We'll definitely be back.👍
We went to Durham and continually went back to Revolution. The cocktails were amazing and the food was fantastic. It is also right on the River and has the most beautiful views. Also they were quite happy for me to take my little chihuahua in with me. Tho she is so tiny she sat in her backpack on the chair. Thanks for contributing to our lovely weekend in Durham.
