Only got directions to here didn't go in, beer garden looks grim though!
Owner/bartender had a dog behind the bar, picked the dog up with her hands, touched its mouth, put it back down and didn't wash her hands when I asked for another pint. There is a reason the beer is cheap there. Seats are falling apart... not worth the time or money, better pubs further up.
Good price, good pint and good people in there. Bit miffed they took out the old Smint machine from the toilet as it was a museum piece. Part of my passage from boy to man. (Men Behaving Badly/urinal)
The place is ok. People are friendly. The landlady Tracy is very polite. But soon sorts any trouble out as she will not put up with it in her pub.
Decent night out. Bit quiet for a Wednesday night and not as many birds out as I would have liked. The quietness gave me time to reflect. Was looking forward to a slow dance but not to be. Drinks are decently priced and door security are fair. Looking forward to coming back. 🖒
