Nice fire 🔥, nice beer, nice atmosphere. Proper pub.
We called in for a quick bite to eat. Such a great welcome and good selection of food and wine. Lovely find and very close to our B&B
Had 2 evening meals in this place and the food was outstanding on both occasions especially the bread and butter pudding best I have tasted will definitely come back at some point, nice litte rural pub open log fire friendly staff and manager very welcoming
Absolutely brilliant sirloin steak here. A bit of an indulgence having cauliflower cheese with it mind you. Highly recommend a visit here for dinner.
The beer was good but some of the party were not impressed with their roast lunch. The fish and chips were excellent. Eating outside was spoilt by the landlord having a smelly bonfire by the beer garden.
