We suggest reconsidering your booking. In our expereince of 30+ years of travel, the descriptions are deceitful. We booked the deluxe double bedroom with castle view for 4 adults. The advertised room shows 2 bedrooms. Not the case. The room we were allocated was 1 double bed and 1 fold out bed (from white stand alone wardrobe in red room picture) in the same small studio type room. Definitely not spacious as the description states, or big enough for 4 adults. The described seating area compromises of a chair or two placed by the window. After explaining that this is not the room we booked, the admin lady was adamant that they were full and had no other rooms. She also said that this happens ALL THE TIME. If this happens all the time- you should want to rectify the issue immediately and not play the blame game. After multiple attempts to explain this is not a suitable room to share with our inlaws, we were shown to a basemaent apartment style room that had 1 bedroom and a fold out couch bed. My husband decided to sleep on the floor because of the hard cross beam running through the "bed". We do not recommend this hotel. The positive about this is that the rooms were clean.
We loved staying here! The rooms are cozy, and they have nice amenities, including breakfast and tea/coffee in the room. We were a short walk from downtown Inverness and our bus tours. I would definitely recommend this place
We were very impressed with all the staff. They went above & beyond to make our stay very pleasant. The only reason I give the room a 4 is due to shower being very small. Room was small but very clean. It suited our needs.
The Redcliffe Hotel was a great place to stay. Single rooms are very small and basic. My room was so small, and it looked dated and not very welcoming. The bathroom was also small, but it had a great shower. Fortunately, the hotel had other spaces to relax and unwind. There is a bar and a large outdoor area. The staff were amazing. They made the visit special. Breakfast provided many options to choose from. Both the multiple flights on stairs and the hotels location are challenging for the less mobile.
