Great service in a lovely setting. We were a group of six and ordered various meals from the menu, all of which were delivered together and we all agreed the quality & portion sizes were spot on. Delicious food, well presented - and so of course we all had deserts! We only ordered 3 alcoholic drinks between us and 2 of our party were children. The bill was £170, which was rather eye watering. However, it was a special family treat & it’s not often these days you can go out for a meal without finding some fault in the experience. The Red Shoot team were all delightful & the food was excellent. Thank you! 😊
This is a lovely country pub in the New Forest. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. I was in a golden wedding anniversary party when I last ate there and the food was good and quick. My last visit was just for a coffee and sit by the fire after a walk in the Forest. The welcome was as warm as the fire. The coffee was not strong enough for my taste but was hot and reasonably priced. There's a large car park but it gets busy in the summer, and there are tables outside.
We had a lovely visit to Red Shoot. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and our dog especially loved the treats he was given. We will definitely be back soon!
Had a lovely meal at the Red Shoot today with friends and family. We went for our friend's birthday and the staff happily decorate the table for us with balloons etc that we dropped off the day before. Everyone was very happy with their choice of food. I highly recommend the pie. It was perfectly cooked and full of meat!! Outside you can chose to sit out with the horses or inside the fence so they can't come right up to you. 5* will be recommending to everyone and plan to try out the camp site next!!
A lunch visit with friends, lovely pub, surprising big with lots of seating and dog friendly inside. The food was good and the service at the bar was very good, considering how busy they were. All the staff were friendly and eager to help. Car park was full but the car park just a few hundred metres away has a space. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a new forest pub lunch and nice walk.
