A cracking hidden gem in the Highlands. You enter through the bar, then like a TARDIS, it opens up to reveal all the bedrooms at the back. The rooms are enormous with en suite shower room. The breakfast is really tasty and filling, so much so I couldn't finish it. I apologised to the chef for the waste and back came the reply better you leave full than still hungry. If I'm back up in Fochabers, I would definitely go back there to stay. Thanks again to you all.
Dropped in for a couple of very tasty Beers and sampled some whiskys too. A very welcoming and comfortable bar area with a games room in the back. Just so happened to be the monthly folk music club on that evening too. Top marks
Nice big clean rooms. Breakfast was great. It's the 2nd time we've been here booked to go back while we where there can wait to go back.
We stayed here for one night while walking the Speyside Way. Quite a quirky layout. The rooms were upstairs outside and had a motel feel. The room was moderately sized, bed was big and shower was powerful! Breakfast was very good and was served in the bar. They don’t do evening meals, but their sister hotel, The Gordon Arms, do. It was nice. The Red Lion is competitively priced and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The earplugs were much appreciated - we had to leave the window open due to warm weather and the nearby bell tower belted it out on the hour!
Nice friendly welcome from bar person. Drink served quickly and competently. We were informed that the jukebox had free plays on which was good but we left it to others to partake.
