Was a great locals bar. Only issue we had was having to leave at 8pm because we have children
Popped in on my way back from Padstow. Gizmo (the French Bulldog), got a couple of treats, off the landlady.., I had a couple of pints of Rattler cider.., perfect refreshment. Very friendly pub.
Caroline was lovely made us feel at home. we were only looking for a cold drink. she was chatty talked about the Royal Cornwall show gave us lots of info on how to get there will go back when next in Cornwall shes a great host thanks Caroline
This pub is really good. The service is good the staff are really lovely and friendly and the beer is good. They also have live music on certain nights. I highly recommend this pub.
No food but what a great pub. Service is exceptional atmosphere so friendly like pubs should be. Been walking to it every night from our campsite with the dog only pub I ever known to give you your drinks and a bowl of water for the dog and some biscuits. Oh did I mention its cheap as chips. Not the prettiest but just a great boozer.
