The Red Lion is a great pub with rooms . They also serve meals . I have stayed there a couple of times recently following a bereavement . The staff have always been friendly and go out of their way to accommodate . So service is very good on the whole , the dinner and breakfast that I ate there were delicious . A technical hitch following Storm Isha meant that the heating/hot water system wasn’t working for a short while but I was well catered for throughout so no complaints .

Lovely pub and Hotel. Nice vibe. Good food. Not cheap but well worth the money.

Excellent room and great service from Emma on reception. We needed somewhere dog friendly and this was perfect. They even provided a dog bed and bowls.

Popped in to have some lunch as we were in the area the staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. We had the fish and chips a good size portion and nice and hot. Would use again. Thanks jim

Stayed one night at the Red Lion, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped, the private parking is a bonus, difficult to park in the area. Lunch was good served in the beer garden. Would stay again.
