I can only comment on the carvery which I had on the day, it was the best carvery I've had in a long time. We got there early and had to wait for the carvery to be set up but it was well worth the wait. Everything was nicely cooked, the vegetables weren't like bullets unlike some places I've been. The beef was tender and fell to pieces. I would highly recommend a visit.
Had a coffee and (veg) sausage egg butty here. The coffee filter was unlimited refills but in all honesty probably not the best coffee by any stretch of the imagination. The veg sausage butty though - spot on. Nice big fat veggie sausages (unsure to brand) with a hash brown and, the perfect fried egg. Not kidding cooked absolutely perfectly, a first in a pub chain. Clean large spacious place, fantastic staff- friendly, professional and accommodating. Only downside, was a bit cold in there and the toilets, while freshly cleaned, could use a little tlc. I know it's a chain pub and they vary in quality, but this defiitely one of the nicer ones in this price range.

I ordered a beyond burger and it wasn’t properly cooked. I asked for no salsa came with salsa. It was soggy and cold. My mums food was also cold and my husbands from the carvery was also cold. They offered me a drink for inedible food. I said no at the least I would have wanted a refund for my meal. Chips were also cold. It’s a shame as eaten here before and was ok. Carvery usually good. Also one salt cellar for the whole restaurant. What’s that about? I don’t think I would return after this awful meal.
Gave this place ANOTHER chance after several attempts to go for a carvery lunch. Again, really let down with the options, meats were all dry and looked like they had been cooked the day before (we ate at 2.30pm so expected it to be a little fresher). Stuffing was the same, rock hard, barely mixed and very dark/burnt. Veg limited, nothing left, had to wait 5-10 mins after being given meats. Then to find no gravy left so had to ask and then wait again. By the time we sat down, meat and veg was cold. 1 out of 10. I said I'd not come again after last time, but I 100% won't go again after this farce of a lunch. Complete waste of money.. see pics
