A really good "proper" pub. Excellent beer, great service, great craic....
A nice enough place, and nice to see that they have Heineken 0.0 on draught (only the second place so far) albeit the Fosters glass was offensive even if I don’t drink lol Second time of visiting now, and have a higher opinion of the place. Quite peaceful on a Monday evening, and being served Heineken 0.0 in a Heineken glass is way less offensive than being served it in a Fosters glass as whilst I don’t drink… I still don’t want to be associated with piss 😂
Doesn't do food. So rating n/a. Can't beat the Red Lion for a good old-fashioned local boozer with friendly people. Great atmosphere 👌
I like that the staff are really friendly and know your name. I always feel welcome, they have a good variety of drinks, lots of ales and gins. Nice pool table, plenty of rooms to choose and I feel comfortable in any of the rooms.
Cracking old fashioned boozer. I say old fashioned because this place looks like something that never left the 70s. This is a good thing in my opinion! Cosy rooms, cheap beer, friendly staff. Brill.
