Came for lunch today and the food was amazing. The staff were so warm and welcoming, great atmosphere. Great location especially if you want to stay in one of their rooms.

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend, and it is conveniently located next to the mall with direct access to the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is peaceful, and we had an excellent evening at the pub with superb service and fantastic music. For the price, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Me and my family visited the red lion for lunch as we was in town. When we walked in we was met by a young man on the bar who had a massive smile on his face. We ordered food and drinks. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering it. The pub was nice and warm and the atmosphere was so welcoming. It was so nice to feel like I was welcome to be there. I can't fault the staff on they went above and beyond to make sure everyone in there was happy. I will definitely be coming back. Since the new managers have taken over it has brought the pub back to how it should be. Keep up the work team.

Location great to trains and airport. Room comfy n warm. Ok for 1 or 2 nights. Cleanliness needs attention in access areas an public bar gents. Staff were amazing n so helpful. Top marks here girls who helped me. Fab for you

Best PIES!!! If you want a BRILLIANT atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic Ale (& beer)... then this pub is the place to visit. And if it’s authentic British Pie you’re looking for — THIS IS THE PLACE! I ordered a mouth watering STEAK & ALE PIE and there were a few other choices. The service and experience is always soooooo great here. I will recommend to my family and friends
