The red lion at chumleigh ,was OK for a meal if your really hungry, food was not the best but definitely edible ,can't tell you what the rooms were like as we only went for a meal .

Good pub has a pool table great selection of beers and ale. Good atmosphere as well.
Walked in on the off-chance after long journey to rural campsite, on Good Friday. It was busy but staff very welcoming. Got us a table right in the thick of it where you wanna be on a Friday night. Live music was great foot stamping stuff, menu brilliant, I could've eaten all of it, food was delicious, beer was perfect, overall superb atmosphere. A pleasure to find a real country pub still exists and hasn't gone all "gastro" but stuck to it's roots and has a friendly local crowd as a result. Thumbs up!
