We found this place by chance and so glad we did. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Service was good and staff lovely. Will definitely return.
Use this place regularly for lunch. Food, drinks, service and ambience are all first class and consistent throughout the year. Well worth a visit.
The Red Lion advertises it self as a good old fashion country inn and that is actually very true. Good beer and food and very welcoming and nice place to stay for exploring the wolds .
Had a nice meal and dessert here today with family only let down as other people said is the toilets in particular the gents, mould on the skylight the urinals smell and there was an old fly trap with dead flies on in here. All it needs is a good scrub/clean with bleach and plenty of air freshener or an open window etc would sort it, just some time and effort which is a shame. It's a lovely nice old pub
Perfect place to stay if you're visiting the Lincolnshire aviation museum. The owners were friendly, and the food was excellent traditionally pub food, all cooked fresh by the owner. Lots of choice for breakfast as well. Great atmosphere in the evening and plenty of seating inside and out. Lots of parking as well. Rooms and bathrooms could do with a refresh but they were clean and the bed was comfy. Will happily visit again.
