The Red Lion is a pub in the heart of Bloxham, just a few minutes drive from Banbury on the A361 to Chipping Norton.
Now completely renovated, the pub offers great food with a range of well kept ales and lagers, a specially selected wine list and an exceptional range of coffees and artisan teas.
With a huge sun-trap of a garden, easy access for wheelchairs and off road parking, The Red Lion is the ideal destination, whatever the occasion.
Paul has already gained two Rosette’s for his cuisine but he puts those down to his father, “My father was a great chef, I simply aspire to be as good as him”.
Prior to The Red Lion, Paul says the best restaurant he’s worked in is Thackeray’s in Tunbridge Wells where he worked with Richard Phillips (who opened the Restaurant and is now a regular TV chef too)
Recent awards have included Aylesbury Vale Food Pub of the Year 2015 and runner-up in Flavour of the South restaurant of the Year 2014
