Had two party’s there a christening, and 1st birthday and two wakes to support small and local was going to rebook for my sons 2nd birthday which took weeks for a reply and was declined by Phil and commity due to refurb. Need to make it consistent not one rule for one and another for other being ageist cause of mess it’s a joke!! He then contradicted himself saying would have christenings which consist of children and mess adults with alcohol will cause more damage then a kids party. Always tidied up after ourselves and brought many customers there never again and they done well on the bar bloody disgusting and absolutely fuming.
Great friendly place, great bar staff, only downer was price of lager, £3-78 , Fosters, cash only, no card!!
Pretty much what you'd expect from an RBL. Came here for a christening and the lack of working aircon meant it was very hot in there. Gents toilets could do with some tlc, but all in all a pleasant place
Just had a family birthday party in the big room. It was very well presented, the food (sandwiches, sausage rolls, etc) were really nice and fresh. The staff were very nice and friendly. Really great night.
