Fantastic old pub plenty of guest ales great bar staff. They dont do food just snacks but excellent end of tracks pub.
This pub (previously the Station Masters House and waiting room),is both a mecca for railway and real ale enthusiasts. The pub itself has various railway station totems displayed along with other memorabilia.Real Ales are abound along the bar, mainly local Bewdley and Cleobury Mortimer Ales plus other visiting brews and cider. The standard Bathams Bitter is always on tap.Snacks are by way of local pork pies, scratchings, crisps ect. During the day more substantial snacks can be found next door in the buffet/restaurant building like sandwiches, pasties and pork Pies plus cakes, tea and coffee. This is open usually when trains are running so check timetables. The Railwaymans Arms is also on limited opening hours so check Web site or ring in advance to check opening hours. The Railwaymans Arms brings about a touch of nostalgia and the real Ales are a delight.
Love this pub. If you are a heritage railway fan. You cannot beat the view
Stopped off while walking the dog early evening for a quick pint. Lovely pint and able to sit on the platform or inside. Water bowls for dogs. Will be returning well worth a visit
Brilliant historic pub within the old railway station. Marvellous place to sit and sup a pint inside and out. Worth the walk to it. A load of ales on to satisfy all tastes. Very friendly chap behind the bar and friendly locals. Everyone I spoke to seemed happy to share knowledge about the long history of the place. Lots of old pictures of the pub within the bar which adds to the character. Lovely old school ambience. Highly recommended 🍺 🚂
