Absolutely love this pub. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and dog friendly 😀 Will definitely be our 'local' on our future visits to the area.

Always enjoy my time at the James Atherton. Staff are always welcoming and polite. Drinks are reasonable price for how nice the pub is. Enjoy to watch the football here and the odd Saturday night. Here’s a photo of my friend getting a picture with BT Manager of the month which the manager of JA won. Congratulations Ben on winning this award!

Awesome pub. Nice selection of beers and ciders. Friendly service. Great seating outside on a sunny day. We will definitely come back here !

Such a friendly, bustling and vibrant bar. The staff are friendly and helpful and the selection of craft beers on offer is excellent. The pub is dog friendly and there are plenty of seating options around the pub.
