Our management team Abby Woods and Elle Snelling warmly welcome all to enjoy the many facilities we have on offer. The Railway Inn boasts a beautiful large and airy 70 seater restaurant with a cosy adjacent and dog friendly dining/bar area. Over the last two years we have developed the old hay loft into a roof terrace perfect for intimate functions and the stable into a snug where you can enjoy all your sky sport favourites. To the rear of the property we have a beautiful beer garden with various covered and heated areas for your all year and all weather comfort. New this year is our Garden room, outside bar and sun terrace. We are excited to be able to offer a room with a view. The function room is ideally located, fully functioning with separate facilities. Accommodating 60-70 sit down and 100+ for buffet with fabulous field views we feel it is the perfect option for all occasions big or small.
All this couldn’t be possible without our experienced kitchen team. Under the supervision of Head Chef Jonathan Pearson and Sous Chef Jordan Stant you can expect a menu constructed of local Produce, traditional pub favourites and trend led specials. Private dining and tailor made menus are available for all occasions.

We hired the Garden Room for our daughters 1st birthday and we had the best time! The space is lovely for an intimate and relaxed occasion. It was cosy but with lots of natural light on a grey wet day. The staff couldn’t have done more to accommodate us and the food was great. All our guests were really impressed and said they will be back to eat in the pub!
This is not a hotel, it is a pub/restaurant. Went for a pre Christmas meal with colleagues. Very nice food and well priced, £28 for 3 course. I'd recommend fish cakes, turkey, steak and the fish pie, also had the Christmas pudding GF version. They slso sell low alcohol Ghost Ship, really nice. Tgd cheese board dessert was huge, nice atmosphere and ample parking
Just spent a lovely afternoon with family and friends celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The room we hired was lovely with its own bar. The food for the buffet was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. The only downside was the gluten free option was not as promised and not sufficient for three people. On the plus side I’ve had worse GF at other venues. We will be back. Thank you so very much Libby and Gary
Went to this restaurant for a change from our usual haunts. Family meal for parents and 2 grown up daughters. Easy access, children friendly. Menu although nice was quite limited. Prices equal to similar pub restaurants average £17 for a main course. Friendly staff Would recommend
Been several times now. Always great service. Great food. Special board changes daily. Always great combinations of food. Highly recommend, will be going back very soon. All the staff are professional, Friendly and always have to help. Keep it up!
