we had a table booked for four people on Friday 19th January. Unfortunately one of our main courses was ordered wrong by the waitress.To help out my friend decided to eat the dish instead of the one he ordered.The waiter said that he would refund the money off the bill. This did not happen.He recieived 25 per cent off his main course.No apology from the manager. To make matters worse they charged £21.60 for two large glasses of Malbec wine.A rip off for a pub.
Excellent service and the food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. I couldn't finish it all and I have a good appetite. We will definitely be back. Thank you
Down here on holiday and was recommended The Railway Inn for Sunday Lunch. This place did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, very attentive and made us feel welcome. The Carvery was amazing, the beef melted in my mouth. Everything was full of flavour. My children ordered from the kids menu, the chicken goujons were homemade and the portions were huge. I would highly recommend The Railway Inn to anyone who's in the area.
Had a lovely lunch with family. Great food with great service. Only negative would be that although the baguettes were gorgeous, they only came with a few bits of lettuce on the side, whereas most places you get more of a small mixed salad or a few crisps. Car park was a little confusing but soon sorted by the bar staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
Food was perfection but the waitress carried on forgetting things and bringing out plates with long time difference between them and Wasn't clear where nutroast was to be collected from. Other than that our meal was excellent deffo recommend the burger or the beef on the carvery. Also book your table on a Sunday.
