Ā£5.10 for a pint of Carling! First time and last time visit. That's just wrong. The lady who served us was nice though.
Our local and hadn't visited until last month when we went for the Folk weekend, since then we've been every weekend! Great place, and friendly & welcoming locals. Gary (Barman) is a legend! Food, music, beers, ales and spirits! All you need! I love this place!
Good beer, welcome, music. Nice little pub! Beer garden too. Extra bonus for the Hendrix and Mothers artwork on walls. Live act earlier in day was good too. Clearly place that cares!
Ā£5.50 for a pint of San Miguel. And when I said "blimey that's expensive", the barman said "I wouldn't know, I only work here". No wonder there were only 4 people in the pub (plus 1 dog). No live music. No sky sports or BT Sports. This pub should be an attraction for locals, people using the Christchurch Railway Station across the road and visitors to the town who would prefer non-tourist pubs but if management keep up with 'West End Pricing' then expect another apartment block on this site in the near future.
