Really good food and very value for money, staff are super friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that it's a bit too loud, especially after 7 pm, but it is a pub, so it's to be expected
My friends and I came for the festive menu and everything was incredible! 3 courses for £19.99 in this economy is incredible. Massive shout out to the chef Beks for the beautiful food and Ben for five star service! Will always recommend this pub
I had the pleasure of being served by Abby at the pub, and I couldn't be more delighted with the experience. Abby's service was exceptional - she was attentive, friendly, and had a great knowledge of the menu. Her cheerful personality made the evening even more enjoyable. Words cannot describe, the Dedication and Passion the Staff at the Railway Pub. They're so welcoming and work so hard to make the pub run smoothly. The Staff are the best part and I'm very pleased to know most of the team. I have tried a plate of Food for the first time in a long time and I have to say it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. I had a Cheeseburger and I have to give the Kitchen Staff 10/10 it was really delicious and the presentation on the plate was very impressive. The Service when asking for a drink is quick, it takes around two minutes to get the drink which is outstanding. The Atmosphere of the pub is great and no surprise, it is usually packed with customers. Always having a very friendly environment, the setting of the Venue is very true to the Name, it's a lovely place for train lovers to have a drink with their friends as well as everyone who comes to visit. Overall, I have to put the Railway is in the list of my top 5 favourite pubs to visit. Keep up the Good Work
It's a lovely looking and spacious pub but I did have to wait a bit longer than I hoped to be served my drink considering it didn't look to be busy. The staff were very pleasant though so props to them. I ordered a beef burger with southern fried chicken and both patties felt like they had been heated up in the microwave and were really hot compared to the rest of the food so I was disappointed by that.
