Fantastic village pub, great service, Sue is the most welcoming Landlady I've ever met. Food is superb and great value. Probably the best Sam Smiths pub in the area. Definitely worth a visit. 5 stars.
Great Sam Smith's pub. January visit so roaring fires and the end of Christmas decorations make the pub really welcoming. Friendly landlord/barman. Had a nice couple of meals, hit the spot. Steak & Kidney pie for me and a Prawn Sandwich for my friend. Both really nice.followed up with a cup of tea all under £20.00. Pint of Old Brewery, superb. It's a Sam's pub so no electronic devices allowed therefore no photos. The pub deserves a few pictures though but I don't mind the restrictions. It was relaxing sat by the fire and chatting.
Great pub. Good food and drink. Lovely staff. Nice little country pub.
Wonderful traditional pub with roaring fires in winter. Great food and very dog friendly too. We could say now we are "regulars" Sue and Dave who run the pub and know you by name are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Feels like a home from from home but with great Sam Smith's beers! Visit once and you'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.
Traditional English Sam Smith's pub with staple food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Worth trying.
