"Rab Ha" is short for Robert Hall a 19th Century inhabitant of the Merchant City who was no stranger to fine food. This appetite earned him the nickname the Glasgow Glutton. His passion for delicious dishes lives on at 81 Hutcheson St. where we invite you to enjoy our fresh local menu, relaxed yet attentive service, great selection of wines and local beers and maybe even the odd dram ….or two.
On the ground floor we have our cosy traditional pub serving a large range of beers and lagers from around the world.
Downstairs is the restaurant at Rab Ha’s. Situated in the basement, our team of chefs source the best local produce to create mesmerizing seasonal menus, complimented by a hand picked wine list.
Upstairs we have our boutique hotel, comprising of four recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms.

Nice little pub. My friends and I popped into Rab Ha's for a quick drink. It's a nice cozy place with an open fire.
It is a great location and they have good food. The staff were excellent and the room had all the required facilities for making a tea or coffee. As the bar was very busy, no table available, they delivered my food order to my room. The bathroom, however, required a wee bit of DIY. The shower was leaking, sink chipped, and the toilet seat requires to be tightened / fixed. The cooked breakfast was nice, and there was a choice options for a continental style breakfast. Nice having breakfast in front of the fire. Cooked breakfast starts at 9.30am so if you are an early riser, you may miss out. It is also an additional £10.
Incredible lodging, great location, and the breakfast was delicious. Plus everyone who worked there was so so kind and helpful. We loved it for our wedding trip!
Tab Ha’s was recommended to us by a tour guide for a great place to try local food and we couldn’t have been more impressed, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was amazing and there was a great range of local beers. I would definitely recommend others to eat here.
What can I say this place is amazing. We will definitely be going back again. The room was brilliant just want we needed nothing too fancy and the bed was really comfortable. The staff are lovely and friendly and give you a really welcoming feeling. The food 😋 😍 oh my days we had the steak pie and it was the best pie we have ever had. The cooked breakfast that you can get for an extra charge is amazing and if you have never tried haggis or black pudding. My advice is try it you may surprise yourself I did and enjoyed it. Could not fault the level of Customer Service here at all it is truly unbelievable definitely 5⭐️ in my book.
