We really are a "proper pub" as one of our customers puts it.
We are in fact the only pub in the country named The Quicksilver Mail, which makes us pretty unique! We are open all day everyday for drinks. During the week food is served from 11am till 2.30pm at lunchtimes and in the evening from 6pm until 9.30pm, and on Sundays from 12noon till 3.00pm.and in the evening from 6.00 pm till 8pm
Our "Grumpy Landlord" Pete Lambden took over The Quicksilver Mail in 2002 and in those 13 years he has transformed the whole place. We have some fantastic real ales, lagers and ciders, as well as an entry in the "Good Beer Guide 2015" - the sixth year in a row that The Quickie has appeared in the Beer drinkers Bible.
Our wonderful home cooked food is complimented by a selection of reasonably priced wines. We also have on sale a selection of coffees in the form of lattes, mochas and cappuccinos. Have a look around our website and see what we have to offer.
We have some fabulous music here at The Quicksilver Mail from local rock cover bands to internationally acclaimed musicians. Our function room can accommodate up to 200 people and is available for hire for parties, weddings, conferences, meetings, etc; in fact, any kind of get together can be catered for.

The Quicksilver Mail hosted our works Christmas Meal this year. There were 23 staff members all of whom really enjoyed the evening. Food was superb, great selection of beers and ciders and of course the service which was spot on. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer for a skittles evening. This is my favourite place to stay week in week out for work in Yeovil. The rooms are basic but well sized, clean, 100% functional and pleasant to stay it. The food is out of this world and I've never had a bad meal. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. You will not find better value for money
The room was lovely, clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking on the property and free Wi-Fi throughout. Check-in was easy and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely exceptional value for money and I would highly recommend to people staying in the area!
We only dined in a smaller bar area,quite and lovely for us two. Our Sunday lunch was pipping hot, the Beef &Pork was lovely. The Roast potatoes would have been better if they crisper,but it will be mentioned next time we go. Which will be very soon, I would recommend the Quicksilver Mill,we're glad we did for the first time.
Attended my Brothers Wedding at this venue August 12th. The venue was beautifully decorated to a very high standard. The food provided was excellent and of a high quality. The staff all excellent so friendly. As good as any Wedding venue I have Attended over the years. Well done to all concerned at the quick silver mall in Yeovil. Really made my brother and wife's big day so special. Five stars.
