Originally a coaching inn on the main Norwich to London Road, the Queens Head had a total refurbishment in 2002, with the addition of an 80 seater restaurant, heated patio, landscaped gardens and children's outdoor play area.
Whether you choose to dine 'alfresco' on the large heated patio or in the warmth of the restaurant, you can select from an extensive menu along with the Daily Specials Blackboard. Alternatively, a selection of 'light bites' are served daily in the bar. Advance booking is strongly advisable, contact us on 01603 810226 to book your table.
Another fabulous boxing day meal. The staff at Queen's Head are what makes this place special they went out of their way to answer queries and help out customers who needed something extra or something different even though they were rushed off their feet. The food is really good quality with decent sized portions. Nut roast was a little too spicy for some of our group and we would have liked more sprouts!! Otherwise all the food was lovely. Lovely touch to provide crackers and mince pies with coffee at the end of the meal , making it great value compared to competitors.
What a fantastic place for a meal. The tables are far apart to separate the customers and the ambience is light and pleasant. The menu and daily specials is so extensive it would be impossible not to find your choice of food. Thank you for an excellent experience. I'll be back!
We had a really lovely meal here. It's a lovely setting and the food was so good. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating here.
The specials change regularly. Food, coffee and drinks are very good. Staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Must book for big groups. Dogs are only welcome if eating or drinking in the garden.
A fine village pub which is so much bigger than it looks! The greeting was friendly and fun, the menu looked great and the gardens were fab. We didnt have food but will certainly return to try the carvery.
