This smartly finished pub focuses on food but is also suitable for those just wanting a drink. The range of real ales includes up to two guests but more guests are often available around the Christmas period. Bottled foreign beers, wines and an extensive coffee choice are also offered. The menu changes to make the best use of seasonal items. Locally sourced products are utilised wherever possible. Monday hosts the fish and chip supper club, there is a Tuesday meat and potato night and a Sunday three-course lunch is available. A quiz is held on Tuesday nights.
