Very warm welcome on a cold day. Cosy pub. Great beers. Fantastic sausages and perfect chips - with plenty of ketchup- no silly little sachets. Full marks, thank you
Superb pub excellent in every way
Stylish country pub, decent selection of real ales. Our meals were fine and a fair price. My rump steak was tasty, free from the dreaded gristle and cooked exactly as requested. Plus friendly staff and large garden for al fresco.
We loved this pub so much, we came 3 times in 10 days. 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and a well behaved dog were all welcome. Food is freshly cooked to order, but doesn't take too long to come, staff were brilliant and welcoming and the pub had a great mix of locals and holidayers. They don't take booking for food,.but evening food served 5.30pm til 8pm.we loved the fish and chips, scampi, chicken bites and local cider. Main course between £12.50 and about £15
We were recommended this pub from our campsite up the road. The food is really lovely with lots of choice. (I'm vegetarian) The staff are very friendly & attentive, making us & the dogs feel very welcome. The gardens are beautiful, someone obviously spends alot of time on them. We've been here to eat for both nights of our stay in the area & can't recommend it enough.
