Despite emailing a complaint I’ve heard nothing from management. The experience we had was awful. Hardly any food in stock, made my order wrong and just scraped the BBQ off and tried to mask it with peppercorn sauce, no straws at the bar, had to ask them to clear the plates. I even called the night before so it wa as b great opportunity to say they had no stock in and no delivery! Was also told at time of ordering food was a 30 minute wait and we waited just over an hour Overall not the high standards we have come to know and love at The Queen of Hearts and won’t be visiting again for a while.

What a wonderful service from the minute we arrived. We came for Christmas dinner and was our first time doing this. Can’t fault anything. Service was smooth, no problems at all. Straight to table, Made to feel very welcome and staff were incredible, particular great service from Emma. Food was delicious and everything brought out within perfect time. We had a lovely time and credit to everyone working. Thanks again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu was good and reasonably priced. Everywhere was spotless and comfortable. The food was good and well cooked. Improvements could be made. On arrival at the table the starter and main meal were lukewarm. The corner of the room were we were sitting was cold.

I went to visit a family friend in Runcorn and the weather seems really nice. After spending a couple of hours at my friends, I thought it would be nice to go out for a meal and to be able to watch the football match. We ordered drinks and food. The starter was not up the amount charged. However, the main course complimented that. The portions are moderately reasonable and also tasted nice. The environment is very bubbly and neat, I must say. It was a mixture of the elderly and the young ones. In fact, there was Bingo being played in other sections of the restaurant. Outside is another lovely area to enjoy the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere. However, the only observation, which was a bit of concern to me, was that proof of payment in terms of receipt is not provided. It looks like a norm there at Queen of Hearts. Supposing someone working away is to eat there and needed receipt for company or business purposes. I guess it will have to be provided on demand, which shouldn't be. Receipt should be issued as a fundamental proof of payment without being asked. The toilet was nice with a cleaned floor. Above all, it was enjoyable, and there was sufficient car park for punters.
