Very disappointing Sunday Lunch. Poor selection of veg with what seemed like a day old reheated Yorkshire pudding. Worst of all it was served cold! Little wonder the place was quiet. Certainly very poor value at £22 for main course

Lovely, genuine English pub in an idyllic setting. We ate outside beside a beautiful weeping willow and a quaint village green. The food was traditional in style but definitely superior in quality. Just what we needed on our journey home.
Love this place! I visit whenever in the area and it always delivers great, friendly service and tasty food! Very much recommend the vegetarian homity pie and Corby ale. Beautiful old building, with atmospheric fireplaces and settings. The toilets are clean and there's customer free parking. Gem of a country inn. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food at this village pub is wonderful. I had the evening special, venison tenderloin with a pheasant hot pot (pic included). As you can probably guess, this is more of a "high end" establishment. Needless to say, it was absolutely delicious. Sticky Toffee Pudding was the dessert and it also did not disappoint. One word of caution, if you wish to take advantage of the dining facilities, it would be a good idea to reserve in advance.
