Pretty good, this place actually. I would say the burger was probably one of the best I've had for a long time, having said that, i'm not a burger Expert. It would knock the socks of a McDonald's. etc. But you get what to pay for I suppose.
Staff were super friendly. Had a really nice meal. Food was good value and good portions. Came to use fast and hot and tasted amazing. Good selection of drinks too. Amazing wine list and lots on the tap. Staff helped us find food suitable for our needs and we were checked on and looked after.
Booking online was easy and straightforward. Confirmation received promptly prior to booking date. Warm welcome on arrival. Nice atmosphere and clean table/environment. Ordering at table was easy and food/drinks were served promptly and with positivity from the staff. In relation to the food, the sides were great, the dessert was lovely and the burger was awesome - the chips were disappointing though.
Came here on a Friday afternoon as a group of eight without a reservation, but were quickly found a table upstairs. Having to go downstairs to the bar to order food, and then carry drinks back upstairs was a bit of a chore, but staff were friendly and food service was fairly quick. Food quality was fairly average, to be honest. My lasagna didn’t taste homemade and the accompanying salad was bland, with no dressing. Other’s food was a little mediocre too. Nevertheless, a big space, able to accommodate large groups, with a nice view overlooking the marina.
In Swansea for an event.. If you have a dog.. WOW! I’ve never known such a welcome. The minute you walk in you’re met with dog bowls, water and the dog menu - yes really! The lovely Lucia couldn’t do enough to make us and our dog welcome. Ignore any negative reviews. We had roast turkey and roast beef, which was lovely. A small mix up meant I received half a chicken instead of the turkey but it was swiftly changed without fuss or problem, very appreciated. We also ordered a chicken breast from the Doggy Menu, served on a plate to our four legged friend. Beer is lovely - we tried a local bitter and lager, both very drinkable. Ordered a second drink online which was really easy and service very swift. Our dog Bear thoroughly recommends it here and will be telling all his chums back home!
