Great little pub. Had a drink before and after a football match at Alfreton FC and was made very welcome. Great beer too
Popped in on the way back from the Alfreton match on returning to the train station post match and thought I'd have a swift pint and support a local business with the half hour I had to spare. Nice cosy micropub. Quiet but was a nice comedown after a couple of hours of football noise, comfy seating and a pool table if you have more time to spare with a bigger group visiting.
Walked in from Alfreton Train Station at 21:56. Thought what a lovely little boozer, how wrong was I. A place that’s for not for anyone but the local. They wouldn’t serve us as they closed at 10pm despite there being a lot of people in. Don’t bother with this place, absolutely horrendous.
A very friendly local pub, for local people, and visitors alike. Always bump into people I know from years ago and not seen in ages. Theres a real community feel, in a traditional pub that promotes small breweries you wont find anywhere else in Alfreton. Dan, Sarah and Lee are great! Come down and relax.
A recently opened micropub with a rotating range of four real ales and two real ciders.A great place to sit and have a good drink with friends. Lots of eclectic details and the more you look , the more you see! Well worth a visit... or two
