Where today you see The Prince of Greenwich is the historical Victorian "Albert" which changed its name during the last few years. It still keeps the charm and the integrity of this beautiful historical building, which is located just at the bottom of "Point Hill", one of the most antique and special corners of Greenwich, often used as a movie set and natural theatre of a London of other ages.
Today, the pub retains its Victorian ambiance transporting you through the centuries as you walk through the door. It will tell you the stories through its special mixture of styles and history that could make you dream but, first of all, will make you feel at home. Its décor is from La Rosa Collection and is the result of many years of research and traveling. Come and visit, you are welcome anytime!
Our Menu uses natural and simple ingredients to make you feel as if you are in a small Italian village. We serve home cooked food, no big chains, just our own creative take on classic Mediterranean flavours.

Really lovely, quirky pub / museum / Italian with rooms upstairs. Stayed here to attend Depeche Mode concert at the O2. Due to limited time we didn't have chance to sample the restaurant, but the food looked and smelled delicious- so we'll definitely book in for a meal next time we are in Greenwich. Rooms are individually decorated, great artwork, comfy beds, warm shower and quiet. Fully equipped communal kitchen you can use with kettle fridge, toastie maker, coffee machine and microwave. Would definitely stay again.
What a unique pub! Lovely locals and staff. Decent Guinness and Italian food to boot! That rhino must have been going at some speed to get through the wall. 🤷🏻♂️
A very quirky style pub. A lot of stuff making no sense. Probably what makes it funny and interested. It was our first tine here, just stopped for a quick drink. But called my attention that the menu is italian. The pizzas were looking very nice. Definitely planning to come there to eat.
Wow! If you want to stay in a place where you're welcomed like family the moment you walk through the door, then look no further! The owners are both an absolute delight. Friendly, wonderful and welcoming doesn't even come close! Delicious food and lovely drinks brought to us by attentive staff really made our visit special. If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to pop in!
This pub does excellent Italian food at very reasonable prices. The owners are very friendly although their English is not great and they sometimes get confused with the order. Atmosphere is lovely and they have a pleasant jazz band on a Sunday afternoon.
