A grand old pub brought back to life and a whole street of ever-changing restaurants, all based around a big, beautiful, all-weather garden.
We’ve taken over 4 old buildings on the street, and converted them into restaurants. The old Prince of Wales pub has been restored and the gardens outside have been gutted and rebuilt into a beautiful woodland garden around one of our trademark pergolas, all heated and enclosed. We have also built a connecting deck to all of the restaurants, pub and garden.
We offer drinking and dining in a relaxed and affordable manner, we encourage large groups and will take bookings FREE OF CHARGE for up to 199 people. All our restaurants are self-service and food is made to order quickly. Regardless of how large or small your party size is, you’re able to eat from different places and please all tastes, yet share the same table and experience.
We asked for vegetarian or vegan waffles and soya latte and they didn’t have any. The veggie burger was ok but the chips were very hard because they were deep fried for too long. The Cesar salad was 13£ and only discovered at the end that it didn’t come as default with chicken and the waiter added it on top for 4£. The place is cold and full of heaters so we had 1 arm very cold and the other boiling hot. Never going back here again.
Isuru was great! Awesome service and great food. Oh and also decent vegan options. Thanks! Sorry for the pic, forgot to take a pic early on lol. Wished the dj played 90s music. But it’s cool. Went for bottomless brunch on Dec 23.
Would avoid if possible. With a few small improvements could be a great pub. Let's start with the good things, the space is fantastic. Large and beautifully decorated, this would be a great place to host an event. Aaaaaand that's about it. Now the not so good. I got interrogated by security on arrival, went through my bag and told me I wasn't allowed to drink my water inside (grow up). Sat down at a table out the back and found that you can order from a QR code from the restaurants that are attached to the pub. Half the items on the pub's kitchen were sold out (this was 6:30 PM), and so we ordered from the attached pizza place. The pizza was good however came to our table in pizza boxes and yet we paid £3 ish for a service charge. Not sure what service they're providing??? If you're in need of a quick bite to eat not awful, but honestly the pub across the street looks a lot better, wish we had gone there instead.
Came here for a friend’s birthday party. Never heard of this place, so I wasn’t expecting much. The food was great and the atmosphere was superb, except that it felt like we went to Essex 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loads of security at the front door and inside so felt pretty safe.
My boyfriend and I visited the Prince whilst staying at the hub (premier inn) opposite. Really good atmosphere, the staff were really friendly. We ordered the Prince cheeseburger which was fabulous. The only thing I would’ve preferred is the chutney to be on the side so you could choose how much you wanted in the burger as mine was slightly overpowered by the chutney. Apart from this, the food was piping hot and perfectly seasoned.
Sorry, we don't have any current news or jobs for this pub.
