Beautiful food, great atmosphere. Second time I’ve visited, previously for a Sunday roast last year, and now for dinner, the dinner was a lamb special, cooked to perfection, such depth in flavour. Also appreciate a good Guinness on tap!
Best steak of ever had. Perfectly cooked and the sause was amazing. Quite a few sauces to choose from. With the beer there's 6 cask ales to choose from, plus there own conditioned ale. Definitely worth a visit Steak Tuesday Will definitely need to book up to avoid disappointment
We had a lovely afternoon meal in here. We all ordered fish and chips and I must say it was one of best I’ve had - crispy at the outside and moist flesh inside. There is kids menu and portions are large. The staff was super polite and kind. It’s better to book in advance as the place crowded for a weekday early afternoon. You need to know there is not much parking space (5-6 spots); apparently there is a parking lot just few mins by foot.
We turned up at 2.30pm on a busy Sunday lunch time . They fitted us in with many smiles and we had the BEST carvery that we've ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful. If you're near Poughill you just HAVE to visit.
Great atmosphere, warm and friendly welcome. Delicious Sunday Dinner with choice of meat and plate size. Went back on Tues for steak night and excellent live music. Steak was mouthwatering hubby loved it, unfortunately the prawn curry I ordered wasn’t as I expected however I would still recommend a visit. A good mix of locals and visitors.
